Merry Christmas

Well this is the final card for today, I cased this idea off a card I saw on Bronwen's blog, I'm note sure who the original designer was other than it says 'Stampin Still' on the picture.  So all credit to them.  I didn't have the stamp sets they used so I just used the ones I had that I thought would work.  I love how it is just very tasteful!  This is what we will be doing at the next Christmas Club ladies!!!

Card Recipe....
Stamps: Baroque Motif, Snow Swirled, Welcome Christmas, Many Merry Messages.
Card: Soft Suede, Naturals Ivory
Ink: Soft Suede
Accessories: Basic Pearls, 1 3/8" Square Punch, Framed Tulips embossing folder.

Happy 1st Birthday!!!

In a couple of weeks it is the first birthday of a friend's gorgeous little girl.  I can;t believe how quickly time has gone.  It was lovely to make her card this morning - I am not usually this organised!

Card Recipe...
Stamps: Family Phrases (this stamp set is retired but my boys have managed to lose the happy birthday stamp I wanted to use from the 'party this Way' set!)
Inks: Regal Rose, Concorde Crush
Card: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White.
Accessories: Timeless Type Junior Alphabet sizzlet dies., small heart punch, Basic Pearls, Itty Bitty Shapes flower punch, Petite Pennants Builder, white gel pen, Cheerful Treat DSP (hostess)

Fun & Bright

I purchased this stamp set eons ago and didn't have an opportunity to assemble it so this was an ideal time to get stuck in, I was thinking of my boys when I made this as every sentiment on the spinner suits them!!  The game spinners are great fun, the boys keep coming up to the card and having a 'spin'!

Card recipe:
Stamps: Take a spin
Inks: Rea; Red
Card: Whisper White, Real Red, Daffodil Yellow, Island Indigo
Accessories: Game Spinners

I have been meaning to make one of these little easel cards for the best part of a year, perhaps more.  They are the brain child of a very talented crater, Bronwen Eastley who amazes me constantly with her creative talents! They are very simple to make yet very effective.

Card Recipe:-
Card: Pink Priouette, Whisper White, Vellum Card
Inks: Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Finial Press embossing folder, Filigree Brads, Rhinestone Brads, Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.

My Next Little Project!

Using paper from the same pack of DSP, Paisley Petals, as I sued for the previous project I amde this box of cards.  This paper is brilliant, as well as being gorgeous it also coordinates with loads of Stampin' Up! card stock.  A lot of the colours it coordinates with are part of the Regals colour group so if you were just starting out you could purchase a mixed pack of the Regals and a pack of this DSP and you would be ready to start a number of projects!

I designed the box to hold the Stampin' Up! note cards, unfortunately I only made it deep enough to take 4 cards, if I was making it again I would increase it's depth to take 6 - 8 cards.  The box opens up like a match box.  The four cards are all the same just different colour ways, I have provided a little vellum envelope with a number of different sentiments so whomever I decide to give this box too can personalise the cards to their own requirements.

Project Recipe..
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Card: Bravo Burgundy, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze, Whisper White
Inks: Bravo Burgundy, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze
Accessories : Paisley Petals DSP, Designer Label Punch, Full Heart Punch, Small Heart Punch, Linen Thread, Word Window Punch.

Gotta love school holidays!

The boys have just commenced a three week school holiday, they are not as needy as they used to be but as the youngest are still just 7 and 11 they do need an adult to be around to feed them, deal with issues etc so it means I have more or less been left to my own devices in my craft room - a very rare event nowadays.  Every so often one or more of them will come and sit with me and chat which is lovely too.

So in the next few posts I will share some of my little projects!

This is a little gift bag made from Designer Series Paper, it was very simple to make and holds 8 little gift cards with envelopes.  The eight cards are all the same design but in 4 different colour ways and to add a little touch of style I used the DSP to cover the top flap of the envelopes, it makes them look very cute I think!  The buttons are 'hand made'!

Project Recipe...
Stamps: none!
Card: Cajun Craze, Marina Mist, Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy
Inks: Cajun Craze, Marina Mist, Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Fancy Flower Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Linen Thread, Mini Square Envelopes, Paisley petals DSP.
