Rustic Rooster

Again this was a card I made for the Techniques class, it is called 'Faux Torn Paper'. It is a very simple technique, you simply get a piece of scratch paper and tear it. Temproarily adhere the paper to your card base with something like the Dotto and using a sponge cover the area that is not covered, if you make it slightly darker at the edge it is more effective. I also stamped the large background stamp 'En Francais' over it whilst the paper was still adhered. I then removed the paper and stamped the other side with a flourish from the Rustic Rooster set. You can use the other side of the torn paper as a reverse mask when you do this.

I also made five card fronts for a card swap with some UK demonstrators, I am still awaiting theirs!!
