Bushfire Appeal

All of you in Australia will know about the nightmare that has been happening in Victoria over the last week. Almost 200 people, many of which are children, even whole families wiped out in the most horrendous bushfire's Australia had ever know. Hundreds and hundreds of homes have been lost and the families have lost everything, there are thousands of animals, cattle, pets, wild life etc that are also badly injured and are in desperate need of medical help and food and water.

there are many, many ways you can help these people and animals, the red cross website is a good place to go, but really anything will help.

Now there are ways that you Australians can help, if you are a crafter you can buy a stamp set from the list below and half the retail value (that is half of what you pay, not half the profit) will go directly to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfires 2009 Appeal. and I will donate my full commission on these sets to the appeal as well. This offer is valid from now until the end of March.

So if you would like to order from this list then please contact me ASAP

(of course there would be postage to pay on top).

My heartfelt thoughts go out to all those who have been affected by the fire, having been witness to a bushfire over here, albeit on a much smaller scale, I can understand how scary it must be for you all. My thoughts also go out to all the flood victims in Queensland who dealing with so much too.
